City of Beloit Dog Park

The City of Beloit Dog Park is approximately 2.5 acres in size and is enclosed by 1700 linear feet of fencing.  The enclosed off-leash area is divided into two separate areas: one area specified for small breed dogs (approximately .5 acre in size), and another larger area (approximately 2.0 acres in size) designed for large breed dogs.  Dog owners will be required to either pay the daily fee that will be placed in a drop-box at the entrance gate, or they can purchase an Annual Dog Tag that can be worn by their dog.

Edwards Ice Arena/Telfer Pavilion

The Edwards Ice Arena is an indoor/outdoor refrigerated rink open October through March.  It is home to the Beloit Youth Hockey Association, Beloit Memorial High School Hockey Teams, and Rock County Fury.  For more information about Beloit Youth Hockey, please visit


We also have open skate hours on Fridays from 7 to 9 pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 2 to 4 pm.  Please go to our website at for current information on the open skate hours. 

From May through August, the Telfer Pavilion is available for rent to the public. You may call the Parks & Recreation Division at 608-364-2890 for more information.

Beloit's Senior
Center is one of the dining centers for the Rock County Nutrition Program.  Well-balanced nutritious meals are served Monday through Friday at Noon. Those who are 60 years of age and over are eligible to eat for a donation.

Those under 60 are also welcome to eat for a set charge. A lunch reservation is required by noon on the previous day. For more information, call (608) 364-2875.



Krueger Municipal Pool

If you are interested in purchasing a Park Bench, please complete the application form and mail it to the Parks & Recreation Division along with your check made out to the City of Beloit. The City of Beloit offers a number of different park locations with many public facilities to help enhance the life of its citizens.




Park Shelter Fees & Reservations

The City of Beloit’s Parks and Recreation Division offers reservations for picnic shelters May through the 1st weekend of October. These shelters can be reserved for a nominal fee. The facilities offer 8-10 picnic tables and accommodate up to 100 people.

Reservations are not taken for picnic areas without a shelter. These areas are available on first-come, first-served basis. Rotary River Center
