Human Resources Office

The Human Resources Division coordinates the numerous programs and policies affecting the employees of the City of Beloit. We recruit, screen, test (when required), interview, and conduct new employee orientations. We also promote interdepartmental relations through meetings, seminars and training programs, negotiate and administer labor contracts, develop and maintain the Affirmative Action Plan and assure equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees. Human Resources staff members coordinate meetings for the Police and Fire Commission and the Board of Ethics.
