Municipal Court

Municipal Court is in session on Thursdays in the Forum at City Hall, 100 State Street, Beloit, WI.   

If you have received a ticket, you are encouraged to contact the Municipal Court prior to your court appearance to find out what options are available to you.  You may contact the Municipal Court at 608-364-6613 or court@beloitwi.gov with any questions about a court date or the payment of any citation or parking ticket.  Payments can be made using any of the options outlined below.

The City of Beloit Municipal Court represents the judicial branch of government and provides a neutral setting for resolving alleged City ordinance violations. The Court provides friendly and efficient service to all court users, keeping in mind legal and ethical requirements.  The court handles approximately 11,000 cases per year. Common cases include: animal control violations, building and property maintenance violations, disorderly conduct, first-offense operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, parking, retail theft, theft, traffic, trespass and underage alcohol violations.
