Non-Profit Youth Programming

The City of Beloit allocated $250,000 through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) program to eligible non-profit agencies to support youth programs and services in Beloit. 

 

Beloit City Council voted on April 1, 2024 to approve the Park, Recreation, and Conservation Advisory Commission (PRCAC) recommended funding allocation for ARPA Youth Program funds. The final budget and programs are below.

 

 

Community Action - Merrill After School Program: $50,000

Community Action - Fresh Start: $30,000

City-Wide Youth Softball League: $50,000

Welty Environmental Center - 3-Day Field Trips: $50,000

Rojas Boxing Gym - Beloit Boxing Foundation: $20,000

Stateline Boys & Girls Club - Operation Great Futures Program: $30,000

Scouts BSA - ScoutReach Program: $20,000
