RESTORATION PROJECTS

This was the terrible sight that greeted us in 2011. Vandals had damaged the monument in the early 1990s and it was repaired. Either the repairs had failed or vandals stuck again. It was a very sad feeling to witness this soldier lying on the ground that he had been standing guard over for over 100 years.

Monument Restorations

Funding for these endeavors is always a challenge and the work is not easy, but the results are beauty, dignity and honor restored for future generations.
