Absentee Voting Information

You must be registered to vote in the City of Beloit before applying for an absentee ballot. You may request an absentee ballot in one of three ways:

  1. Online: Go to https://myvote.wi.gov and follow the onscreen instructions.
  2. Request by mail/email/fax: Complete the application for an absentee ballot and mail, email, or fax it to the City Clerk's office at 100 State Street, Beloit, WI 53511, fax: (608) 364-6642. The application must be received by the City Clerk no later than 5:00 p.m. on the Thursday before the election. Don't forget to include a copy of your photo ID with your application!
  3. In-Person at the City Clerk's office: Absentee voters voting in the City Clerk's office must vote and submit their ballots and certificate envelopes while they are at the Clerk's office. Ballots may not be removed from the City's office.  
 
You may not request an absentee ballot be mailed to you over the phone.
