The Edwards Activity & Sports Center is one of Beloit’s premier large-event rental facilities, ideal for festivals, company picnics, family reunions, and community gatherings.

Rental Season & Hours
- Available May through approximately the first weekend of September (varies based on hockey season)
- Facility hours: 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.
- Music must end by 10:00 p.m.
- Approximately 20 picnic tables available
Reservations are first-come, first-served. Rentals for the following year may be made and paid for up to one year in advance of your event date or at the time of key return. Full payment is due at the time of reservation.
All Special Event rentals require:
- Certificate of Insurance
- Completed Special Event Permit (submitted online)
Rental Rates
Refundable Security Deposit: $200
City of Beloit Residents
- Up to 500 people: $300
- 501+ people: $525
Non-Residents
- Up to 500 people: $400
- 501+ people: $625
Government / Non-Profit
- Up to 500 people: $150
- 501+ people: $262.50
Two-day rentals receive a 25% discount off the first day’s rental rate.
Alcohol Permit (Residents Only)
A beer permit is required for groups wishing to consume beer or wine.
- Available to City of Beloit residents only
- Permit holder must be present during alcohol consumption
- No charge
- Must be obtained at least 24 hours before the event
- Valid ID showing City residency required
Reservation Process
- All reservations must be made online through Online Reservations and Registration
- Office hours:
- Monday–Thursday: 6:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Friday: 6:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
- The Parks & Recreation Division reserves the right to refuse a reservation or permit
Facility Guidelines
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all park visitors:
- Amplified sound requires advance approval from the Director of Parks & Recreation
- Events may not disrupt other park users or nearby residents
- Groups must leave the facility and grounds clean and orderly
- Two dumpsters are located in the northeast corner of the parking lot for trash disposal
- Grease disposal on park grounds is prohibited; renters must make their own proper disposal arrangements
- Use protective mats under grills to prevent damage; fees may be assessed for grease spills
- Coal-only receptacles are available in the parking lot
- Do not open or adjust pavilion tarps
- Do not operate City-owned equipment
Violations may result in forfeiture of the security deposit. A $30 fee will be charged for returned checks.
Key Pickup & Return
- Pick up keys at 2351 Springbrook Court, Monday–Thursday, 6:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Return keys the next business day
- Drop box available outside the visitor entrance
- Office closed on weekends and holidays
