East Grand Ave Now Open

East Grand Avenue is now open downtown after the completion of the roadwork.

While the road will re-open on Friday, work continues downtown. Plantings and electrical work will continue after the road is re-opened.

The project was completed with funding from the City of Beloit and a Wisconsin Department of Transportation’s Local Road Improvement Program grant.

Grand/Pleasant Intersection Improvements Underway

The East Grand Avenue and Pleasant Street intersection requires additional work due to deteriorated pavement.

Construction dates: May 4–18

·         Phase 1: No through traffic. Drivers can turn onto and off East Grand Avenue.

·         Phase 2: From Pleasant Street, drivers can only head west on East Grand Avenue.
