Grand Lighted Holiday Parade in Downtown Beloit Is Friday, Nov. 28
The Beloit community is invited to downtown for the Grand Lighted Holiday Parade, scheduled for Friday, November 28.
The parade route will begin at Grand Avenue and Third Street, continue eastbound on Grand Avenue and will end at Grand Avenue and College Street before Horace White Park. All vehicles must be removed from the parade route by 4pm Friday, November 28. Drivers will need to use an alternate route as the streets will closed be along the route.
“We’re excited to share this holiday tradition with the community,” said Downtown Beloit Association Executive Director Shauna El-Amin. “Downtown will be glowing with lights and filled with families, friends, and neighbors. We can’t wait to kick off the season together and welcome Santa to Beloit.”
The schedule of events are as follows (all times are approximate):
- 5pm: Live music at First National Bank Plaza at the corner of State and Grand
- 6pm: Santa arrives for tree lighting at the Plaza
- 6:15pm: Fireworks show and parade
- After parade: photos with Santa & Mrs. Claus at the Plaza
The Downtown Beloit Association is partnering closely with City of Beloit emergency partners to provide enhanced parade security as precautionary safety measures. Participants will likely see an increased number of police cars, snow plows, and other vehicles securing the route.

• Commercial/Business: $15
