Beloit Parks & Rec Releases Summer Program Guide

Enjoy a fun packed summer with plenty of activities from the City of Beloit Parks & Recreation Division. The summer recreation program guide is now online athttps://www.beloitwi.gov/park-programs.

We are planning a fun summer with plenty of activities! Save the date for some of the free, family-friendly activities, including:

• Public Works Week at the Farmers’ Market, Saturday, May 16, 8am-1pm at the Beloit Farmers’ Market, Downtown Beloit.
• Touch-A-Truck, Thursday, June 25, 10am-12:30pm, Telfer Park, 2101 Cranston Rd.
• Story Time in the Park, Thursday, June 11; July 16; August 20 1-2pm at Harry C. Moore Pavilion in Riverside Park, 1160 S. Riverside Dr.
• 4^th of July Bike Parade, Saturday, July 4, 10am at Riverside Park, 1160 S. Riverside Drive. Ages 3-12. Registration required.
• Pops on the Rock Concert & Fireworks, Saturday, July 4. More details to come!
• Playground Camp Program, Monday-Friday, June 15-August 14, 1-4pm, Vernon Park, 934 Vernon Ave. Ages 5-13. Registration Required.
• Blanket Bingo Series, June 24 at Riverside Park, 1160 S. Riverside Drive; July 22 at Krueger Park, 1611 Hackett St.; August 26 at Eagles Ridge Park, 3731 Golden Eagle Dr., 5:30-7pm.
• Historic Walking Tour, Saturday, September 12, 10am-12pm, Oakwood Cemetery, 1221 Clary St. Registration Required.
• Pumpkin Walk, Wednesday, October 14, 6:30-7:30pm, Riverside Park Lagoon, 1160 S. Riverside Dr.
• Fall Bingo, Wednesday, October 21, 5:30-7pm, Rotary River Center, 1160 S. Riverside Dr.
