Free Rides Available to Housing Resources Fair on Beloit Transit

Update, July 15: Need a ride to the Housing Resources Fair? Free bus rides are now available after the City Council waived bus fares for the event.

If you’re taking Beloit Transit, get to the Housing Resources Fair early to catch a bus home:

• West side: last bus leaves at 5:45pm on route 6.
• East side: last bus leaves at 6pm on route 2.

This applies to Beloit Transit routes; fares will be still charged on the Beloit-Janesville Express (BJE).

Original: The City of Beloit Equal Opportunity Commission and Community Action invite residents to attend a free Housing Resources Fair on Monday, July 20, 2026, from 4-6 p.m. at the Beloit Public Library, 605 Eclipse Blvd.

The event will bring together local organizations and housing professionals to provide information and resources related to housing stability, rental assistance, homeownership opportunities, and community support services.

Residents who are seeking housing resources, exploring homeownership, or looking for assistance programs are encouraged to attend. Participants will have the opportunity to connect directly with service providers, ask questions, and learn about programs available in the Beloit area.

Refreshments will be provided. The Housing Resources Fair is free and open to the public. No registration is required.
