Celebrate Public Works Week at Beloit Farmers' Market

The community is invited to join the City of Beloit Department of Public Works as we kickoff National Public Works Week and celebrate in beautiful downtown Beloit. Public Works Week is May 19-25, 2024.

Join Public Works at the Beloit Farmers’ Market from 8am to 1pm Saturday, May 18, for our Public Works Week event. Celebrate all the great things that happen in our department; engineering, water resources, parks & recreation and operations will all be present for this event to highlight how public works impacts our community.

This year’s theme is: “Advancing Quality of Life for All.”

We will be bringing all of the big equipment for kids to explore. Each child will be provided a passport at the check-in table. The passport can be stamped at each Public Works booth. After the passport is filled out, the child can exchange it to spin the wheel for a prize.

Additionally, small trees will be available to take home for planting while supplies last.

While you’re there, pick up a summer program guide and learn about all the amazing recreation programs available in Beloit.
