Beloit Parks & Recreation Launches Summer Program Registration

Enjoy a fun packed summer with plenty of activities from City of Beloit Parks & Recreation Division. The summer recreation program guide is now online at www.beloitrecreation.com/programguide.

 

Registration is now open for all summer programs. We are introducing our new registration portal located directly at https://wibeloitweb.myvscloud.com/webtrac/web/splash.html. A link to the online registration can be found at www.beloitrecreation.com.

 

We are planning a fun summer and fall with plenty of activities! Save the date for some of the free, family-friendly activities, including:

 

  • Touch-A-Truck, Thursday, June 26, 10am-2pm, Telfer Park, 2101 Cranston Road
  • 4th of July Bike Parade, Friday, July 4, 9:30am, Riverside Park, 1160 S. Riverside Drive. Ages 3-12. Registration required.
  • Playground Camp Program – New Location, Monday-Friday, June 16-August 15, 1-4pm, Regina Dunkin Park, 1218 Henry Ave. Ages 5-13. Registration required.
  • Story Time in the Park, June 12, July 17 and August 21, 1-2pm, Harry C. Moore Pavilion in Riverside Park, 1160 S. Riverside Drive. Ages 2-8.
  • Blanket Bingo Series, June 25 at Riverside Park, 1160 S. Riverside Drive; July 23 at Krueger Park, parking lot at House and Hackett streets; August 27 at Eagles Ridge Park, 3731 Golden Eagle Drive; 5:30-7pm.
  • Pumpkin Walk, Wednesday, October 15, 6:30-7:30pm, Eagles Ridge Park, 3731 Golden Eagle Drive.
  • Fall Bingo, October 16, 5:45-7pm, Rotary River Center, Riverside Park, 1160 S. Riverside Drive.

New programs this year include fall bingo, Start Smart preschool sports program, open gym, 3-point contest, sunrise yoga, and a winter pickleball league.

 

Swimming lessons are coming back for the first time ever since the COVID-19 pandemic! These weekly, affordable lessons focus on water safety, skill development and confidence in the pool!

 

“We are thrilled to bring back some Beloit favorites and add new programs,” said Recreation Supervisor Robert Douglas. “By serving families and providing new opportunities for our kids, we will connect our youth with their community and keep them busy with fun activities all summer long.”
