Ironworks Parking Lot — Temporary Entrance Closure

To improve pedestrian safety near the Ironworks parking lot, the entrance at 3rd Street & West Grand Avenue will be temporarily closed to vehicle traffic.

What this means for you

• Vehicle access to the Ironworks parking lot is still available from the 4th Street and the northern 3rd Street driveways.

• There is no reduction in the total number of parking stalls during this trial.

• The change is a safety-focused trial to evaluate pedestrian movement and traffic flow around the lot.

Why we’re doing this

Keeping pedestrians safe is our top priority. Temporarily closing the driveway closest to the busy intersection will reduce potential conflicts between people walking and vehicles entering or exiting the lot.
