City Council Selects Search Firm to Begin City Manager Recruitment

The Beloit City Council has selected an executive search firm to run its recruitment process for the vacant city manager position. The decision was made Monday evening after reviewing proposals from recruiting firms.

MGT Impact Solutions, LLC was selected to run the search after a competitive request for proposals process. MGT Impact Solutions previously has conducted recruitments for the City of Beloit under the previous name GovHR.

The City Council will soon kick off the process with the firm and values resident feedback as they select the next city manager. The details on the search, timeline and public participation opportunities will be shared with the community after the process formally begins.

City Attorney/Deputy City Manager Elizabeth Krueger is currently serving as the interim city manager until a city manager is hired.
