Beloit Parks & Recreation Hosts Beloit Winterfest

Looking to beat those winter blues? The City of Beloit Parks and Recreation Division is holding its annual Winterfest celebration Jan. 24-26, 2025. The weekend will be packed full of family fun. There will be plenty of outdoor and indoor activities for everyone, including those who embrace all that winter has to offer and those who dream of living in a much warmer climate.

Join the Beloit community for some of the following free activities:

  •         Friday, Jan. 24: Bingo, 1-2:15pm, Grinnell Hall, 631 Bluff St.
  •         Saturday, Jan. 25: Make & Take Crafts, 9am-noon, Beloit Winter Farmers’ Market, 557 E. Grand Ave.; Winter Dazzle Day 10:30am to noon Nature at the Confluence, 306 Dickop St., South Beloit; Games and Hot Cocoa Bar, 1-3 pm, Beloit Public Library, 605 Eclipse Drive;
  •         Sunday, Jan. 26: Sleigh Rides, Bonfire and S’mores, 11am-1pm, Big Hill Park, 1201 Big Hill Road.

“By the time mid-January comes around, many people are starting to experience ‘cabin fever’ and are ready for fun activities,” said Riley Magnuson, recreation supervisor for the City of Beloit Parks and Recreation Division. “Winterfest is an excellent option to create lasting memories for the whole family.”
