Park Avenue Bike Lane Update
The City of Beloit is aware of challenges being experienced along Park Avenue as part of the bike lane project. City staff is actively working with the contractor to address some of the concerns identified, especially as it relates to the placement of delineators along the route.
Delineators that are blocking driveways or entrances will be removed to ensure that access is maintained to all driveways and businesses.
We recognize that projects of this scale and complexity can sometimes present unintended challenges during implementation. When those issues arise, our commitment is to evaluate them promptly, work collaboratively to identify practical solutions, and make corrections where appropriate.
