Public Information Meeting Scheduled for West Grand Avenue Reconstruction

West Grand Avenue is being reconstructed from Bluff Street to Eighth Street this summer. The project starts June 9 and will be completed by the end of August, weather permitting.

 

Work includes new pavement and base, curb and gutter, sidewalk ramps, driveway aprons and drainage improvements. Any lead water lateral pipes will also be replaced between the water main and the property line.

 

A public information meeting hosted by City of Beloit Department of Public Works’ Engineering Division is planned to address any concerns or questions the residents may have:

• Location: Hackett Elementary School, 625 Eighth St.
