Emergency Overnight Warming Sites Activated Wednesday 12/03, through Friday, 12/05

Emergency Overnight Warming Sites are activated in Rock County for two nights, starting the evening of Wednesday 12/03, through the morning of Friday 12/05 based upon predicted temperature and/or wind chill below zero. Another notification will be sent if activation extends beyond the end date. This information is provided by Rock County Human Services.

The Beloit sites are as follows:

Beloit Hospital Emergency Department Lobby

  • 1969 W. Hart Rd., Beloit, WI
  • Available 24 hours only during overnight warming site activation
  • Single individuals or families
  • Chairs are available (but not cots)
  • Enter through the ED public entrance

 

The Salvation Army Rock County - Beloit location (Red Shield Center)

  • 628 Broad Street, Beloit WI
  • Open from 7pm to 6am. Everyone must leave the site at 6am.
  • Intake to the shelter is 7 – 9pm. If no one arrives by 9pm, the shelter will be closed for the night.
