City of Beloit Kicks Off Strategic Planning Process

The City of Beloit is kicking off its strategic planning process with a community survey and focus groups. Insights gained from Beloit residents, businesses, and non-profit organizations will be essential as the City Council develops goals for the next three-to-five years.

The City of Beloit Strategic Plan guides the direction for the City of Beloit organization. The Beloit City Council adopts the strategic plan, which helps set staff and budgetary priorities.

The City of Beloit is partnering with CP2 Consulting, Inc. to develop the plan over the next few months.

Community Input

The City of Beloit is interested in feedback from all community members throughout the city.  The community is invited to take a quick survey between now and September 3, 2026. The survey generally takes less than 10 minutes to complete.

Additionally, Cory Plasch with CP2 Consulting, Inc. will be holding several focus groups with residents and community members. Individuals interested in the focus groups should sign up online by Monday, August 31, 2026. Focus groups will be held on Sept. 14 and 15, 2026. Space is limited.
