Summer Playground Program Returns to Vernon Park

Kids ages 5-13 are invited to join City of Beloit Parks & Recreation staff this summer from 1-4pm Mondays-Fridays for games, activities and crafts at Vernon Park, 934 Vernon Ave.

This free summer playground program has returned to Vernon Park. The shelter and restroom were replaced last year at Vernon Park, temporarily moving the program to Regina Dunkin Park.

The program begins June 15 and runs through August 14. Daily program availability is subject to change based on staffing and weather. In case of inclement weather, the program will be held at Grinnell Hall Senior Center, 631 Bluff St.

This program is designed to help our community’s youth stay active, build friendships and have fun in a safe and supportive environment.
