Grinnell Hall Senior Center Announces Upcoming Events
Grinnell Hall Senior Center is proud to announce its upcoming events.
MLB Game-Cubs vs Brewers at American Family Field; 9am departure Wednesday July 30. No matter who you root for, both Cubs and Brewers fans can join us for a trip to see this border battle. Spots are limited and fill up fast. Registration opens on June 2. The trip cost is $80, which includes game and transportation. Open to members, non-members age 50 and older must purchase a day pass on the day of the trip to attend.
“Learn More About Brain Health” workshop; 1pm Tuesday, June 3. Participants will gain an understanding of Alzheimer’s disease & Dementia and receive tangible tools to maintain brain health. Class is free. Spots are limited; registration is required, please call or stop by Grinnell Hall. Class is presented by Grinnell Hall and the Rock County Aging and Disability Resource Center.
Music by Jacob; 1pm Friday, June 6. Join us for an instrumental solo piano concert of original compositions with peaceful harmonies. Free for members. Non-members age 50 and older can purchase a day pass for the event
Steve Doiel Trio; 1pm Friday, June 13. Join Grinnell Hall Senior Center for an afternoon of hits from the 50s, 60s and 70s. The Steve Doiel Trio will perform hits by John Denver, Patsy Cline, the Beatles and more! Free for members. Non-members age 50 and older can purchase a day pass for the event
Memory Screenings; 11am Friday, June 20. Participants will get an early detection screening for personal or medical use. Early detection is important and treatment is possible. Screenings are free and brought to you by Grinnell Hall and the Rock County Aging and Disability Resource Center. Spots are limited; registration is required, please call or stop by Grinnell Hall.
