Learn Bike Safety and More at This Year’s Touch a Truck Event

The City of Beloit Parks and Recreation Division is hosting a Touch a Truck event from 10am to 12:30pm Thursday, June 25, at Telfer Park, 2101 Cranston Road.

New this year: a bike rodeo will teach area kids about cycling safety. Bring your own bike and helmet or use the ones provided on site. The bicycle safety course is made possible in partnership with the Stateline Spinners, Bike Elves, and the Wisconsin Bike Fed.

This is the second year that the Touch A Truck has been held at Telfer Park. We are rounding up all the trucks we can find and letting you get a hands-on look. Talk with equipment operators, touch heavy-duty equipment and learn what these trucks can do. All ages are welcome.

Big trucks and buses will be featured from the City of Beloit, Rock County and the Beloit business community! Have any questions? Give us a call at (608) 364-2890.
