Have a great name for our snow plow? Join our contest!

The City of Beloit Department of Public Works is inviting kids in the community to name our snow plow and loader with snow blower!

 

Submit your nominations by 11:59pm Sunday, Dec. 22, using this form. Our staff will review the nominations and select finalists to be voted on by the community the week of January 6-10, 2025. The winners will be announced on Monday, January 13.

 

With winter weather here, please also take a moment to sign up for winter weather emergency alerts at www.beloitwi.gov/snow or text the word “SNOW” to 608-367-4600. While the City of Beloit has alternate side parking year-round, no vehicles can be parked on city streets during a declaration of a winter weather emergency.
