Labor Day Service Impacts

All city offices will be closed on Monday, Sept. 7, in observance of Labor Day. The following services will be impacted due to the holiday:

Garbage and Recycling Collection

  • Trash and recycling collection will be delayed by one day the week of Sept. 7-11. There will be no trash or recycling collection on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 7.
  • Residents can sign up for weekly trash and recycling reminders at https://beloitsolidwaste.com/pick-up-schedule/. For more information, call the City of Beloit Public Works Operations at (608) 364-2929.
  • The Recycling Center is closed on Saturday, Sept. 5.

Beloit Transit Operation

  • Beloit Transit will not offer service on Monday, Sept. 7, due to the holiday.

Beloit City Council

  • The regularly scheduled Beloit City Council meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8.

Beloit Public Library

  • The library will be closed on Monday, Sept. 7.
