Help Determine the Future of Krueger Pool: Take the Survey
Share your feedback on the future of Krueger Pool. The City of Beloit is beginning a feasibility study that will review the future of the pool and is seeking your input. Take this short online survey by Monday, March 9, 2026, to share your views.
Questions include amenities, location, pricing, property tax impacts and more. The survey should take no more than five minutes to complete. At this time, there has been no decisions made about the future of Krueger Pool.
“The future of Krueger Pool should reflect the needs and priorities of our community,” said Tonya Johann, Director of Parks & Recreation. “This feasibility study gives us the opportunity to evaluate existing conditions, explore options, and hear directly from residents and visitors.”
The feasibility study began in December 2025 and will review current pool conditions and present options for the future. The pool was last remodeled in 1982; the aging infrastructure has challenged pool operations over the past decade. The deep well/diving area last opened in 2019 and closed in later seasons due to mechanical issues.
After the survey is completed, concepts for a new pool will be developed and shared with the community for further feedback. The City of Beloit will keep the community informed as the study progresses.
Parkitecture + Planning, based in Madison, WI, is the consultant leading the feasibility study on behalf of the City of Beloit.
Krueger Pool was originally constructed in the late 1930s as the nation recovered from the Great Depression. The pool was built through the Works Progress Administration, created by President Franklin D. Roosevelt.
