Beloit Public Library and Stateline Community Foundation have teamed up to present a new civic education series titled Know Your Local Government. This first segment focuses on Property Taxes. City of Beloit residents are invited to spend their lunch hour at the library and hear from all four taxing districts to learn where their property taxes go and how each group uses it: City of Beloit, Blackhawk Technical College, Rock County, and School District of Beloit.
