Colley Road Construction Starts August 10

Construction will begin Monday, August 10, on the Colley Road reconstruction project between Willowbrook Road and the Interstate 39/90 bridge. The project is expected to be completed in late fall 2026, weather dependent.

Colley Road will be closed to through traffic beginning August 10. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes. Access to Springbrook Village will be maintained throughout construction.

The project will fix the deteriorated road and improve safety, accessibility, and traffic flow along this corridor as the city prepares for increased traffic associated with the opening of the Ho-Chunk Nation casino later this year.

Planned improvements include reconstructing the roadway, adding a shared-use path on one side of the road and a sidewalk on the other, and realigning a section of roadway to create safer, more gradual curves for motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists.
