City of Beloit Announces Pool, Lagoon Rentals & Splash Pad Opening Dates

The City of Beloit Parks & Recreation Division will soon open popular summer activities, including the splash pads, Krueger Pool and paddleboat rentals at the lagoon.

Splash Pads

The splash pad at Regina Dunkin Park is now open. The Vernon Park splash pad at 934 Vernon Ave. will open by Thursday, May 28. The water feature at Turtle Island Playground in Riverside Park, 1160 Riverside Drive, has been turned on for the summer season.

Krueger Pool

Krueger Pool, 1700 Hackett St., opens for the 2026 season on Monday, June 15.

Hours of operation are:

Sunday-Thursday

• Open Swim: 12-6pm

Friday-Saturday

• Open Swim: 12-5pm
• Family Swim: 6-8pm ($2/person)

Paddleboats Rentals at the Lagoon

Paddle boats, kayaks and tandem bicycles will be available to rent at the lagoon in Riverside Park starting Monday, June 1.

SCHEDULE

• Monday-Thursday: 12-7pm
• Friday-Saturday: 12-8pm
• Sunday: 12-6pm

RENTAL FEES

• Quad Paddle Boat: $8/half hour or $12/hour
• 2-Person Paddle Boat: $5/half hour or $8/hour
• Kayak: $3/half hour or $5/hour
• Tandem Bike: $5/half hour or $8/hour

Concessions are also available for purchase, including ice cream, snacks and refreshments, in the lower level of the Harry C. Moore Pavilion.
