Cemetery Clean Up Begins Soon

The 2024 spring cleanup of the Eastlawn and Oakwood cemeteries will start soon.

Decorations on gravesites should be removed by Monday, April 15, 2024; new decorations may be placed on or after Wednesday, May 1, 2024.

 

Things to know:

 

•         Broken vases and vases not planted for two years will be removed.
•         Artificial and cut flower arrangements must be placed in durable containers; glass, china and fragile vases are not permitted.
•         Cemetery staff will dispose of excessive or inappropriate decorations, and any decorations not removed by the deadline of April 15.
•         American flags that are not serviceable are removed.
•         Ground wreaths and grave blankets are not permitted.
