Mission Statement
The Beloit Fire Department is dedicated to maintaining a proactive approach to community risk reduction.  Our every action must focus on reducing risk to lives and property in the Greater Beloit Area.

    • To improve response capabilities for all of Beloit by implementing alternative staffing concepts.
    • To continue to provide for community risk reduction, through all mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery strategies.
    • To implement a career development program in order to invest in our most valuable resource, our human resources.
    • To create and train Community Emergency Response Teams.
