Honor Guard

The Beloit Police Honor Guard was created in 1998 to honor one of our fallen officers, Pete Larsen.  The Honor Guard participates in parades and community events.  They also attend funerals for fallen officers all over the state of Wisconsin and northern Illinois. The Honor Guard is responsible for our agency’s Awards Ceremony which is hosted each May during Law Enforcement Week to award fellow officers, civilian employees, and community members for their actions within the city.

Upon request of the family, the Honor Guard may also assist families of retired Beloit Police Officers who have passed away.  This is an opportunity to display our Department's continuing respect and appreciation for the retired officer and their service to our community.  Families of officers who have retired from Beloit Police Department that are interested in having the Honor Guard as a part of a visitation can contact Sergeant Brian Daugherty at daughertyb@beloitwi.gov
