Beloit Police Reserve Unit
The Beloit Police Reserve Unit was formed in 1970 as a volunteer group of citizens who would assist patrol officers. The Reserves perform a necessary and important service to our community by efficiently and effectively assisting with traffic and patrol duties. The Reserve Unit augments the regular police force in event of an emergency or whenever required to preserve peace and order; or to protect life and property. They assist in non-confrontational situations and act as additional "eyes and ears" for the police department. The Beloit Police Reserve Unit assist with traffic and crowd control during parades and community events.
We are currently working on updating our policies and will have more information soon on how to participate in the Beloit Police Reserve Unit.
