Markese Terrell
City Councilor Markese Terrell graduated from Beloit Memorial High School in 2008 and attended college at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He is a community Activist in the Merrill and Hackett neighborhood and the surrounding areas. He previously worked at Frito Lay for 9 1/2 years as a packer and a forklift operator, until departing in September 2020 to work as in-school support for his childhood elementary school, Merrill Elementary. He is the visionary founder of the Youth Boxing Program (In collaboration with Rojas Boxing Gym), the former vice-chair of the Equal Opportunities Commission, and the chairperson of the NAACP Education Committee.
