Kayak rentals available at kiosk at John Rose Launch and Riverside Park starting Memorial Day weekend. Paddleboat, kayak and tandem bicycle rentals are available at the Riverside Park lagoon in the summer.

The Beloit Dog Park is a great place to let your dog off the leash to run, play, and socialize. The park is open year-round from dawn to dusk, and is fenced so dogs are safely contained off-leash.
The City of Beloit Dog Park is approximately 2.5 acres in size and is enclosed by 1700 linear feet of fencing. The enclosed off-leash area is divided into two separate areas: one area specified for small breed dogs (approximately .5 acre in size), and another larger area (approximately 2.0 acres in size) designed for large breed dogs.
As of January 2026, there are no fees for use of the dog park.

Disc golf is played much like traditional golf, but instead of a ball an club, players use a flying disc. The course is located at a 6.6 acre park nestled among some of the largest oak trees found in Beloit.

The Beloit Skate Park provides opportunities for all levels of skater. It’s a unique hybrid park, which contains both modular ramp elements for transition skaters and concrete stairs and metal rails for street skaters. Due to this revolutionary design concept and utilizing the attractive campus of Telfer Park, the Beloit Skate Park has planned a park that will address the needs of a wide variety of users. Beloit’s Skate Park is available for skateboarding, roller blades, and BMX riders.
