Adopt-A-Road
Grab your friends, family, coworkers, civic group or neighbors and help keep Beloit clean! We will provide all of the supplies you need to adopt a road, park or trail in Beloit to keep it litter free!
Streets
The purpose of this program is to provide for the planning, maintenance and evaluation of streets, including roadway right of way. The streets group ensures safe travel throughout the City of Beloit.
Report a Concern
If you need to report a streets-related concern, you can use our online portal.
Crack Sealing
The purpose of crack sealing is to extend the useful life of the road by keeping moisture out for 6-7 years.
Curb & Gutter Repair
Repairs to the curb are considered when street resurfacing is scheduled.
Parking Lots & Right of Way Maintenance
The purpose of this program is to maintain parking lots and right of ways, including mowing and removal of litter from the road's right of way, city lots and ditch lines. This operation is performed from March-November.
Potholes
The purpose of pothole patching is to improve the safety conditions on the roadway and performed throughout the year.
Sewers
The city provides the maintenance for the storm sewers and sanitary sewers.
Street Closure Request
To request a street closure, forms and fees are to be completed at the Public Works - Operations building at 2351 Springbrook Court. Please allow a two-week notice before your scheduled event (block party, etc.). Street Closure Application here.
Street Milling, Pavement Cuts and Sweeping
The purpose of street milling is to remove humps in the road and create joints for resurfacing the road. Street milling is performed spring through the fall.
Traffic Control
The purpose of the traffic control group is to ensure the safety of our residents and visitors to the City of Beloit by proper signage and street markings.
